Gary Parkinson of the BBC writes a hilarious — at least to me — piece on his experiences installing and configuring Linux. Like a lot of newbie Linux users — (cough) me, for example — he had trouble getting wifi to work. (Took me the better part of a week to finally connect.) And, again, like a lot of us, he had to wave the white towel over some features — in his case, iTunes. (For me, it was encryption software.) Link via Lifehacker, which is, as we speak, my absolute fave Web site by a mile. |
