From the Legal Pad to the iPad

The purpose of this program is to provide a basic introduction to the ways that a lawyer can use the iPad to become more efficient and provide better service to clients. There is no doubt that technology, alone, will not make someone a better lawyer, since hard work and creative thinking are still the hallmarks of successful attorneys. Nevertheless, a lawyer gains nothing by lugging around briefcases and trial bags stuffed with documents; nor does the lawyer serve the client's interests by taking hours to do something that a computer can do in minutes or seconds. This program will demonstrate the most useful iPad applications ("Apps") and how they can be productively applied to the day-to-day practice of law.
