How do I view PDF documents?

To view PDF documents, Adobe Acrobat Reader is required. Download a free copy at Adobe Acrobat Reader.

How can I speed up PDF viewing?

To speed up document viewing:

  • Open the Adobe Acrobat Reader program (Acrobat v 5.0.5)
  • Under Edit/Preferences/Options, check the Allow Fast Web View box



  • Contact your Systems Administrator if you continue to encounter problems

Note: The size of some files may cause documents to load slowly.

What is the best way to view the larger PDF files?

If you find a large PDF that you know you want to view, it may be quicker for you to download the file to your computer and view it there.

To download a PDF:

  • Right click on the link you want to download
  • Choose "Save Target As" (Internet Explorer Users) or "Save Link As" (Netscape Users)
  • Choose a location on your computer to save the file
  • When the download completes, just open the file from your computer
