|
| The book I need is checked out, what should I do to obtain it? |
Contact our Circulation Team (215.574.1500) to place a hold on the item. You will be contacted when the book is available.
|
| How can I see what records I have saved? |
After saving records (page at a time) that interest you, click on the "View Saved" button. |
| How can I tell when an item was last updated? |
Library holdings information is available on JAC for all titles that are updated by advance sheets, pocket parts, loose-leaf filings, etc. If supplementation is received for the title selected, a box display will appear in the middle of the screen listing the most recent issue. |
| How do I find current publisher information? |
Publisher data in JAC' bibliographic description does not reflect dynamic changes in the Legal Publishing Industry. For information on current publisher contact Information & Research, 215.574.1505 or Acquisitions: 215.574.7950. |
| JAC indicates the book is in Closed Stacks or Concourse@Jenkins; what does this mean? |
Books in Closed Stacks or the Concourse@Jenkins have generally been superseded by newer editions. Ask staff to retrieve books from these areas. |
| What if the item I need isn't listed in JAC? |
Try searching other library catalogs or let our Document Delivery department find the resource you need.
|
| Why are there not more resources listed as "On Order"? |
The majority of the titles in the library are on standing order. This means, if we already have an earlier edition of a publication, the publisher will automatically send us the next edition. Items listed as "On Order" are new publications that the library has never had before.
|
| What does it mean when I see "Link to" on a record? |
JAC provides Jenkins patrons with 24/7 access to full text versions of cataloged resources. All users can find online versions of everything from administrative codes to court rules and congressional hearings. In addition to those resources, Jenkins members can access any of our Member Online Services right from their desktop. For a complete list of full-text resources, browse our Online Versions of Publications.
