A commonly overlooked injury by the legal and medical profession is the mild to moderate brain injury. In severe brain injury cases, the resulting disability is readily apparent and easily provable. But in cases where a person has a concussion and resulting post concussion syndrome, the damage is seldom obvious. Even when the injury is disabling and produces lingering symptoms of memory loss, cognitive dysfunction and physical symptoms, the injury is often undetected with x-rays, CT scans, MRI's and EEG's.
