Full text searching of Patent Abstracts of Japan -- published unexamined patent applications from October 1976 to present. Features manually-translated English abstracts and automatic machine translation of the text from Japanese to English. (Caveats: It takes about 4 months for a published patent to get into PAJ because of manual translation requirements. Machine translation is available 1993 to present only).  Also provides access to the Japanese trademark database.

Features a searchable patent database, which includes the full text of all U.S. patents issued since 1976 and patent applications published since March 15, 2001. You can also browse the weekly Electronic Official Gazette to get basic information for each patent, plus the main drawing. In addition, USPTO contains the Trademark Electronic Search System (TESS), a searchable trademark database of more than 3 million pending, registered, and "dead" federal trademarks.

The organization was selected by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) to oversee and administer a mandatory dispute resolution policy for administering domain name conflicts.  Search their database of cases by keyword, case name or number, domain, complainant/respondent, date, and status.
