  • LawyerExpress
    Legal portal that contains a collection of links (without descriptions) to relevant sources of news, legal research, and office tools. The site is customizable so that only the desired links appear.

  • Legal Information Institute, Cornell Law School
    Features all U.S. Supreme Court opinions handed down since 1992, more than 600 historically important Supreme Court decisions, New York Court of Appeals opinions, and the U.S. Code. Also contains libraries in two important areas (legal ethics and social security) and a series of "topical" pages that serve as concise explanatory guides and Web resource listings for 100 law topics.

  • Lexis Web (beta)
    Searches content from Lexis.com, as well as legal-oriented Web sites selected and validated by LexisNexis editorial staff, including governmental agency information, blogs targeted at legal professionals, and general Web information about legal topics.  A quick reference guide is available (PDF format).

  • State and Local Government on the Net, Piper Resources
    Over 9,600 links to state and local government sponsored and controlled Web sites. Also provides access to multi-state and national organizations.

  • WashLaw, Washburn University School of Law Library, Topeka KS
    Guide to more than 150 legal topics on the Web. Contains many specialized subject links, such as the federal agency index, which provides access to forms, administrative law opinions, and publications.

  • Zimmerman's Research Guide, LexisNexis
    Great general overview of legal topics created as a "black book" by a researcher named Andrew Zimmerman. Search by keyword or browse by topic name. Entries in the guide can contain citations to cases or statutes, Web sites, addresses, telephone numbers and more.
