Minimizing Liability for Equine Activities (Webinar)

Our free CLE webinars are available to Jenkins members only. Join Jenkins today to enjoy this member benefit and more!

The Equine Activity Immunity Act of 2005 (4 P.S. § 601-606) provides limited liability to those involved with working with horses. The act, however, is far from a full liability shield. And the sheer volume of things that can (and often do) go wrong around these large and inherently dangerous creatures provides ample opportunity for injury and subsequent lawsuit.

This one-hour CLE will discuss the importance of comprehensive documentation, which will protect your clients from liability and ensure that those assuming the risks of equine activities actually understand what those risks are.
