Practical Threats to Client Confidentiality

Tremendous hype has been made of ransomware, hacking and other types of external cyberthreats. This presentation is not about these well-discussed, high-profile topics. Instead, we will be speaking about more insidious and common threats to maintaining confidential client information and the potential ethical considerations involved -- topics such as:

  • What do you do if you lose your smartphone?
  • Can you easily secure your digital files?
  • Should you use a free email service?
  • How do you track documents sent to copiers, scanners and printers?
  • And more.
