Redacting Public Filings Using Adobe Acrobat

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has approved a new public access policy for case records filed in and maintained by the appellate and trial courts, which will take effect in early January 2018. This one-hour CLE will help attorneys:

• Identify the types of personal data that needs to be redacted
• Learn how to correctly redact information in Adobe Acrobat
• Avoid common mistakes in redaction

Note: The instructor will not interpret the wording of the new public access policy.

Jenkins Law Library, an accredited provider under the Pennsylvania CLE Board's Rules, will serve as the CLE provider for this course. The course has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 1.0 hour of CLE credit in substantive law, practice and procedure.

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 1.0 hour of total CLE credit.
