Member Databases

The following member databases include access to the current U.S. Code. Members must be logged in to jenkinslaw.org to access these databases. These databases are also available in the library.

These databases also provide access to historical versions of the U.S. Code. The most comprehensive member database to search the historical U.S. Code is HeinOnline. For more information about finding historical versions of the U.S. Code, see the Historical US Code page of this guide.

Fastcase

Available on Fastcase. From the menu on the left, select Search Statutes > under "Current Editions", check the box next to United States Code

HeinOnline

United States Code
Available on HeinOnline. From "Browse Databases by Name", select U.S. Code > United States Code

1925 - present. Yearly supplements also available (once in the desired edition, the yearly supplements are located below the list of titles). The U.S. Code collection also includes Early Federal Codes & Compilations of Statutes.

The U.S.C. on HeinOnline is the unannotated publication prepared by the Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the United States House of Representatives. A delay between publication and availability on Hein may be possible.

LexisNexis Digital Library

Available on LexisNexis Digital Library. Annotations provided by LexisNexis.

To find all volumes of the USCS, once in the LexisNexis Digital Library search for "United States Code Service". If you know title topic you are looking for, include it in the search string. For example, the search "United States Code Service" "Banks and Banking" will return all 8 volumes of Title 12: Banks and Banking.
