Sherry Thomas, Esq.

Sherry Thomas is Director of the LCD Housing Initiative at the Legal Clinic for the Disabled. She exclusively practices landlord/tenant law while managing LCD's team of staff attorneys, paralegals and interns in all housing related work, including providing direct legal services in court proceedings, to achieve LCD's goal of reaching the most vulnerable during Philadelphia's housing crisis.

Ms. Thomas also manages LCD's role in the Philadelphia Eviction Prevention Project (PEPP), including the Lawyer of the Day (LOTD) program, which provides onsite representation for unrepresented tenants in Municipal Court and oversees housing referrals to LCD through the citywide Landlord/Tenant Helpline and our PEPP partner agencies. Sherry represents LCD in the Housing Security Working Group, established through the Mayor's Eviction Task Force.
