Deborah Weiner Katz, OTR/L, CCM, MSCC

As a graduate of Temple University’s Occupational Therapy program, Debbi has worked in rehabilitation for 35 years. Her background is extensive and includes work in pediatrics, psychiatry, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, geriatric care, and catastrophic injuries. She also established and operated a multi-disciplinary outpatient brain injury treatment program. This program serviced individuals following an acute inpatient stay in a rehabilitation facility. The program supported individuals in various CLA’s and focused on community rehabilitation and integration. In addition to working as a clinician and program administrator, she has worked in almost every aspect of care management, litigation support, and cost evaluation since 1983. Debbi established Advanced Rehabilitation Management, Inc. in 1990 and the company has flourished under her direction.

As the head of AdvancedRM, Debbi utilizes her expertise in case analysis and development to guide all staff members in providing consultative services to our clients. Her rehabilitation proficiency as well as her involvement with the special needs population ensures the best possible outcomes for client recovery and throughout the litigation or recovery process. She works closely with each client and staff member to develop comprehensive plans for treatment and rehabilitation. Debbi understands functional implications of a wide variety of diagnoses. Her interest in spinal cord and catastrophic illness and injury, combined with her knowledge of bio-technology supports, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications, helps our clients to achieve maximum independence and dignity. Debbi has extensive knowledge of both traditional and non-traditional brain injury and rehabilitation programs nationwide, an expansive network of providers, and an acute awareness of community agencies and resources.
