Jenkins On Your Desktop: Journals about Women and the Law on HeinOnline

HeinOnline has an extensive collection of subject-specific law journals. To celebrate Women's History Month, check out their collection of journals about women and the law.

This collection includes noted law school publications like Berkeley Journal of Gender, Law & Justice (1985-2012), Harvard Journal of Law & Gender (1978-2012), UCLA Women's Law Journal (1991-2012), Women's Rights Law Reporter (Rutgers School of Law - Newark, 1971-2011), and Yale Journal of Law and Feminism (1989-2012). ABA publications Perspectives (1991-2011) and Women Lawyers Journal (1911-2011) and international journals Australia Feminist Law Journal (1993-2012) and Canadian Journal of Women and the Law (1985-2012) are also included in this collection.

To access this collection, use your last name and member number to log into Jenkins' website. From either the Member Center or the list of Member Databases, select HeinOnline. Once in Hein, from the Subscribed Libraries list on the left-hand side select Law Journal Library. Hein defaults to a browsing option by journal title. To see subject-specific collections, switch "Browse by: Publication Title" to "Browse by: Subject". The subjects are listed in alphabetical order, and "Women and the Law" is the last subject on the list.

Click on the plus sign next to "Women and the Law" to view all titles in this collection. To search this collection, enter your search terms in the search box located above the first Women and the Law journal title. On the left side of the results list Hein offers ways to "Refine your search" by journal title, state published, and date. To run a new search or to modify your search, click on the "New Search" or "Modify Search" buttons above the search results.
