PBA Formal Ethics Opinions Now Available to the Public

The Pennsylvania Bar Association has recently made their formal ethics opinions available to the public on their website: https://www.pabar.org/members/catalogs/Ethics%20Opinions/FormalSearchWS.asp.

PBA offers searching by exact phrase, all words, or any words. If you know the ethics opinion number you are looking for, type the number in the search box. It may be beneficial to try searching a few different ways for the opinion (for example: YYYY-NNN or YY-NN). If searching by number does not return the desired opinion, try searching by topical words and phrases, making sure to search for synonyms or alternate phrases. Opinions go back to the 1970s.

Select opinions may be excluded from the PBA website. For more information, contact the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
