Videos on Public Access Policy for Court Case Records

Check out the video series the Pennsylvania Courts released on the new Appellate and Trial Court Case Records Policy. These videos help attorneys and other interested parties understand how to file confidential documents, how to protect confidential information such as social security numbers, and how to view court records.

The new policy became effective January 6, 2018.  It aims to ensure case records remain accessible while still protecting sensitive information, like financial account numbers, and sensitive documents, like medical records.

For more information about the videos, see the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania's news article.
