Read The New York Times on General OneFile

Did you know that your Jenkins membership provides access to The New York Times? On General OneFile, a one-stop source for finding news and periodical articles, Jenkins members can access the daily New York Times. General OneFile’s coverage of the newspaper begins in 1985 and continues to present. It is updated on a daily basis, giving you the most current news from this national newspaper of record.

To access The New York Times on General OneFile, select “Publication Search” from the Advanced Search page. Search for “The New York Times”, and select the publication link. From the publication page, you can browse the newspaper by date. 

Users can also set up alerts to get the daily news sent right to their inbox every morning. To set up an alert, select “Create Journal Alert” from the top menu, then select email and enter your email address and alert frequency.
