Locating SCOTUS dockets on the Supreme Court website after 2001 is typically an easy task. However, if you're researching a Supreme Court case prior to 2001, you may find yourself having a more difficult time.

A new search tool might help resolve this issue. The tool was created by Nam Jin Yoon and was shared in one of their blog posts' titled Improving Discoverability of SCOTUS Docket Sheets.
