Fair Debt Collection Practice

Neil Gorsuch’s first Supreme Court decision on June 12th involved the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  This Act reminds us that attorneys are called upon occasionally to perform in the collection and enforcement of a judgment.  Statutes regarding these practices are found in both Federal and state laws.

Jenkins has various treatises on this Act.  One of the latest treatises that will help Pennsylvanaia attorneys is Collection Law from Start to Finish.  Not only does it focus on the Act but guides the attorney through the collection process.
