The Federal Judiciary's website (uscourts.gov) offers open access to a number of useful statistics, including:

Judicial Business of the United States Courts - Addresses workload of all federal courts, federal probation and pretrial services system, representations under the Criminal Justice Act, and complaints filed under the Judicial Conduct and Disability Act.

Federal Court Management Statistics - Profiles for regional courts of appeals and district courts along with national totals and rankings

Federal Judicial Caseload Statistics - Analysis, charts, and tables presenting data on the workload of the U.S. courts of appeals, district courts, and bankruptcy courts. Also includes data for the federal probation and pretrial services system

Wiretap Reports - Information provided by federal and state officials on applications for orders for interception of wire, oral, or electronic communications. Includes offenses under investigation, types and locations of interception devices, and costs/duration of authorized intercepts

Bankruptcy Filings Statistics - Quarterly filings data tables
