Terry Fromson to Receive 20/20 Vision Award at the 2015 ABA Chicago Annual Meeting

Congratulations to the American Bar Association’s Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence award recipients! This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Commission and the passage of the Violence Against Women Act. 

Terry L. Fromson, Managing Attorney at the Women’s Law Project, will receive a 20/20 Vision Award. See the Women’s Law Project Blog to read about her work as a “trailblazer” advocating for legal reform on behalf of victims of discrimination, harassment, and domestic violence. The Women’s Law Project created the Philadelphia Self-Help No-Fault Divorce Manual which is hosted on jenkinslaw.org

Recipients of the President’s 20th Anniversary Vision Awards, Sharon L. Corbitt Awards, and 20/20 Vision Awards will be honored at the Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence’s 20th Anniversary Reception at the ABA Annual Meeting in Chicago on August 1. The ABA press release lists all award recipients. Roberta Cooper Ramo will also receive the American Bar Association’s highest honor, the ABA Medal, during the General Assembly meeting.
