Database for Pennsylvania Legal Advertisements

Need to find notice of a sheriff's sale? How about a notice of name change, or a company's incorporation or dissolution notice? Estate notices, lawyer suspension/disbarment notices, fictitious name filings - all these and more can be found in the PA Legal Ads database.

Advertisements in legal journals (also know as legal bulletins, law reporters, legal registers, etc.) are required by hundreds of Pennsylvania statutes and rules. Legal ads inform citizens of the everyday activities of government. The PA Legal Ads database, created by the Conference of County Legal Journals organization, provides a repository of these legal ads.

Notices in the PA Legal Ads database are available from over 40 counties, from Adams to York. Coverage varies by county, and appears to start about 2010. (Philadelphia County does not publish a legal journal and so is not included in this database, but legal notices may be published in The Philadelphia Inquirer, and in The Legal Intelligencer.)

NOTE: For coverage of the broader category of Public Notices, see:
Public Notice Pennsylvania from the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association, and;
