HeinOnline LibGuides Offer Collection Specific Tips

  • HeinOnline logo

HeinOnline is a great resource with many collections, including the Law Journal Library, Code of Federal Regulations, Legal Classics, Session Laws Library, U.S. Congressional Documents, and more. To help users navigate these collections, HeinOnline developed database specific guides using the LibGuides platform, which is popular in university libraries.

The guides are collection specific, and current guides include Law Journal Library, National Survey of State Laws, U.S. Congressional Documents, World Constitutions Illustrated, and more. Hein plans to add additional guides each month.

HeinOnline described some of its LibGuides features in a blog post this past summer: I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for LibGuides! Each guide includes an overview of the database, browsing and searching tips, and, when available, links to additional training materials for that collection.

HeinOnline is a membership database available to most Jenkins members.
